Politician analyst Bogdan Teodorescu has passed away. The sad news was announced by journalist Dan Andronic.
“Yet another piece of news that makes us fewer and fewer,” Dan Andronic wrote on his Facebook page.
“This morning, Bogdan Teodorescu departed to a realm where there is no pain, no sorrow, nor sigh, but life everlasting. May God forgive you and grant you rest, my friend!” Dan Andronic further expressed.
Bogdan Teodorescu was a member of the Romanian Writers’ Union.
A journalist and author, as well as a refined political analyst, Bogdan Teodorescu also held a teaching position at the National School of Political Studies and Public Administration (SNSPA).
With a PhD in Communication, Bogdan Teodorescu published works in the fields of:
Political and electoral marketing (Political and Electoral Marketing Manual, 1999, co-author; The Best of All Possible Worlds, 2005, co-author), the history of political communication (Five Millennia of Manipulation, 2007)
The history of Romanian electoral campaigns (2001 – The Honeymoon Year of Power, 2004, editor-coordinator; The Year of Armageddon, 2004, co-author; Year 2004 – The Romanian Elections, 2005, co-author; 12/XII – The Orange Revolution in Romania, 2006; The Băsescu Era: Integration and Disintegration of Romania, 2007).
He published over 30 scientific articles.
His areas of interest were related to political and electoral marketing, historical perspectives on political communication, and electoral campaigns in post-revolutionary Romania.
